Readin' more

This book has captured my attention. The author also wrote The Virgin Suicides.

Have you read it yet? I only just read it last year, but it really knocked my socks off!

Also, a really excellent book I read recently is Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. It's AMAZINGLY good--complete engaging pageturner, but so literate and yummy.

I checked out The Blind Assassin, on your rec, but haven't started it yet.

I am about 220 pages into Middlesex. I'm enjoying it very much. I love the Virgin Suicides movie; I read the book also. I'm also reading Barack Obama's Audacity of Hope.

I am on the waiting list for Special Topics. I like to check out the book news on Yahoo news, and that's where I heard of it. I read on Facebook that you like it--cool!

I really loved the Blind Assassin. The first twenty pages or so throw a lot of information at you and jump around in time, but stick with it and it will start making sense. I expect Atwood to be excellent, and she was.

My next book is V for Vendetta--if I can read it before it's due to the library. People have requested it.
