The sides of this headband are knit separately, then bound off (or together, depending on how you look at it) with three needles at the top. I blocked before joining the sides.

Needles: size 2 double points

Hibernation

My summer craft productivity is winding down. The lack of sunlight makes me want to nap, not knit. I got a lot done with my knitting and sewing this weekend and yesterday I just wished I had napped instead.

I'm waiting for a yarn mail order, and until then, I will be curled up with a good library book, taking a little break. Anybody else get this way with the season change?

Here are the arms and legs of Archie, a very cute Wee Wonderfuls doll. I have cool astronaut-print flannel, so I had to make a boy! Rather than just an astronaut shirt, I'm going to do a full outfit of the same fabric and make it look like PJs. Instead of having shoes, my Archie will be barefooted.
